Activate a subscription

This guide shows what to do when a subscriber buys a MEGOGO subscription from you: activate the subscription, make the MEGOGO account and tell the subscriber how to sign in.

        API-->>Server: "successful": true
    end

Step 1. Activate the subscription

{"successful": true} Go to step 2. Record the purchase in your billing
Code 2023 The subscription is already active. Do not bill the subscriber again. Go to step 2
Other "successful": false Do not bill the subscriber. See the Error catalog

WARNING

Bill the subscriber only after "successful": true.

Step 2. Make the MEGOGO account

Do this step one time for each subscriber, when the subscriber has no login yet (user/innerId gives no email). If the subscriber already has a login, go to step 3.

  1. Make the login and the password. See The MEGOGO account.
  2. Send them:
POST https://billing.megogo.net/partners/{partner_id}/user/changeCredentials
Content-Type: application/json

{"isdn": "{identifier}", "email": "{login}", "password": "{password}"}

isdn is the same identifier as userId in step 1.

Response What to do
{"successful": true} Keep the login. Go to step 3
Other users already have this email Make a different login and send the request again
Invalid password Make a password of 6 or more characters

Step 3. Tell the subscriber how to sign in

In the personal account of the subscriber on your site, show:

Your login and password for MEGOGO: {login} {password} To start to use MEGOGO, click "Continue".

The button "Continue" opens the MEGOGO sign-in page:

https://megogo.net/ua/auth_login?view_action=login_email

Keep the login and the password in the personal account all the time, in the section where the subscriber orders the service. Then the subscriber can find them again.

The subscriber can also sign in with the same login and password in the MEGOGO applications for Android and iOS.
