Go-live checklist

Do these checks before you sell MEGOGO to your subscribers. Do the tests with your test partner ID.

Credentials and access

  • You have the production partner ID and the production service IDs.
  • The IP addresses of your production servers are in the list of your partner ID.
  • The partner ID is only on your servers, not in web pages or applications.

Subscriptions

  • subscribe activates the subscription. You bill the subscriber only after "successful": true.
  • Code 2023 does not make a second bill.
  • unsubscribe uses the service ID that user/subscriptions shows.
  • A change of the subscription sends unsubscribe, then subscribe.
  • If you use suspend: resume comes only after your own suspend.
  • Retries: a check with user/subscriptions before subscribe and resume, 1 minute between attempts, maximum 6 attempts.
  • You know the renewal mode of each service ID.
  • Your system reads the code at the end of message, not the text.

MEGOGO account

  • You send the identifier always in the same form, without spaces at the start and at the end.
  • user/changeCredentials is sent once for each new subscriber, with a unique e-mail login and a password of 6 or more characters.
  • You check the format of the login before the request.
  • The error Other users already have this email makes a new login.
  • The personal account shows the login and the password all the time, and the button "Continue" opens https://megogo.net/ua/auth_login?view_action=login_email.
  • A test subscriber signed in to MEGOGO with the login and the password and sees the subscription.
  • A change of the password gets the current login with user/innerId first.

Operations

  • Your logs keep the requests and the responses with the time in UTC, without passwords.
  • You compare your billing with MEGOGO regularly. See Reconciliation.
  • Your team knows the support address: supportpartners@megogo.net.
  • After the start, you activate one subscription with the production partner ID for a test subscriber, sign in and stop it again.
